Meet new friends at the Afternoon Club

 

Our informal meetings in Beechwood Hall once a month are a perfect opportunity to meet new people in Hamsey Parish. No membership fees or big commitments – just £1 per meeting, which includes tea and biscuits.

 

When?

The second Monday in the month, at 2.30 pm

 

Where?

Beechwood Hall, Beechwood Lane, Cooksbridge

The Afternoon Club is a social group for older residents of Hamsey Parish and their friends, although younger people are very welcome to come along as volunteer helpers. Transport to Beechwood Hall can easily be arranged if you need it, just give us a ring.

 

Each meeting last two hours, and includes refreshments and a fund-raising bring-and-buy sale. Sometimes we enjoy a game of bingo or beetle, or watch a slide show, but often we just sit and chat, and catch up on all the local news.
